Promotes health and the prevention of illness and injury. Practices autonomously and in collaboration with other health care professionals to treat and manage patienthealthproblems.TheroleoftheLeadAPPincludesdirectpatient/familycare,consultation,research,patient/families/ group/communityadvocacytoholisticallycareforcomplexpatientcareneeds.Servesasamemberofthecriticalcareand/or acute care team with the primary responsibility of managing a caseload of critical care and/or acute care patients under the supervision of a physician. In addition to providing care outlined, the Lead APP will have direct oversight for assigned APP team.The Lead Advanced Practice Provider (APP) performs comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, orders, conducts, supervises,interpretsdiagnosticandlaboratorytests,andprescribespharmacologicandnon-pharmacologictreatmentsin the direct management of acute and chronic illness in care of the critically ill patient.Promoteshealthandthepreventionofillnessandinjury.Practicesautonomouslyandincollaborationwithotherhealthcare professionals to treat and manage patient health problems. TheroleoftheLeadAPPincludesdirectpatient/familycare,consultation,research,patient/families/group/community advocacy to holistically care for complex patient care needs.Serves as a member of the critical care and/or acute care team with the primary responsibility of managing a caseload of criticalcareand/oracutecarepatientsunderthesupervisionofaphysician.Inadditiontoprovidingcareoutlined,theLead APP will have direct oversight for assigned APP team.Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing as Advanced Practice Nurse. OR Master's Degree as a Physician Assistant by the National Board of Medical Examiners, or, the Academy of Physician's Assistants
• Two (2) or more years of experience as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or two (2) years serving as a Physician Assistant.
• Current Georgia License as a Registered Professional Nurse is required for an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
• Current Georgia Authorization/Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or Physician's Assistant, specializing in critical care services for in-patient setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced
