Department Information
Located in one of America's most vibrant cities, the College of
Engineering (COE) is the largest producer of women and minority
engineers in the country. Offering more than 50 different degree
tracks at the bachelors masters, and doctoral levels, COE
incorporates eight engineering schools, consistently ranked among
U.S. News & World Reports top 10. The College has built a strong
reputation in the United States and abroad, and graduates leave
with skills, knowledge, and global savvy for a world increasingly
dependent on engineering.The Center for Engineering Education and
Diversity (CEED) is housed in the College of Engineering and is
responsible for the oversight of 9 programs, three of which are
institutional, serving over 3,000 students per year. CEED programs
are focused on the recruitment and retention of students who are
traditionally underrepresented in STEM fields including: African
American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, multiracial, transfer
students, first generation college students and women students.
However, CEED programs are open to all Georgia Tech students.The
CEED office offers a drop-in center where students can meet 1:1
with CEED staff, host study group sessions, learn about other
campus resources, and connect with students in similar majors.
Job Summary
Coordinate and provide professional and administrative support for
targeted programs and/or projects and unit initiatives. This
position will interact on a regular basis with: Faculty and staff.
This position typically will advise and counsel: Faculty and staff.
This position will supervise: NA.
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 -
Plan, execute and provide assistance for meeting and event
logistics and scheduling
Job Duty 2 -
Establish schedules, oversee arrangements and provide logistics
support for targeted programs and/or projects and unit
initiatives
Job Duty 3 -
Evaluate, assess and report on the feasibility and sustainability
of potential programs, projects and initiatives
Job Duty 4 -
Provide necessary support related to the identification and
execution of adopted unit programs/projects and other unit
initiatives
Job Duty 5 -
Develop, arrange/coordinate meetings and project materials for
distribution, as necessary
Job Duty 6 -
Compile, organize and analyze data for use in reports for targeted
programs/projects and other unit initiatives
Job Duty 7 -
Monitor and update appropriate stakeholders of progress/milestones
for program/project objectives
Job Duty 8 -
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Technical Diploma, Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of
education and experience
Required Experience
Three to five years job related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service and
organization skills. The ability to prioritize tasks, work
independently and/or within a team environment.

Salary range: $22.45 - $31.25/hr (salary offered will be
commensurate with direct experience)Location: Hybrid (Atlanta,
